1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FeedCheck mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FeedCheck is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze food items and provide safety assessments for pets (dogs and cats). The App provides safety grades, ingredient analysis, and related information to help pet owners make informed decisions about feeding their pets.

3. Important Disclaimer

FeedCheck is an informational tool and is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian regarding your pet's health and dietary needs. While we strive for accuracy, AI-powered analysis may not capture all risks. In case of suspected poisoning or adverse reaction, contact your veterinarian or an animal poison control hotline immediately.

4. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using FeedCheck, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any data stored within the App.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free Tier: FeedCheck offers a free tier with limited daily scans and basic features.
• Premium Subscription: Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation:You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund policies are governed by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the App's operation
• Use the App's output to provide veterinary or medical advice to others
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the service in any way
• Scrape, mine, or extract data from the App for commercial purposes

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and algorithms — are the exclusive property of FeedCheck and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedCheck and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or pet injury, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FeedCheck from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
